Kelvin Intel Dreadnought Improper Scaling

$
0
0
It appears that the new rendering of the Kelvin Intel Dreadnought Cruiser has given it improper scaling compared to its size in the movies. The exaggerated size of the new rendering is inconsistent with the movie ship, and I hope this gets fixed because one of the things I like about STO is how they try to be as accurate as they can regarding the scale of ships in the TV shows and movies. This new ship is way out of scale and looks ridiculous.

Do tactical branch skills on the tree, crit chance/severity and hull/shield penetration affect science exotic damage abilities?

This would be my wish list for STO.
1) allow the players to be able to change our specialization in any map. Would make the random stf or tfo more palatable.
2) since they've made some definitions with carriers/flight deck cruisers, how about defining what makes a battle cruiser a battle cruiser. How about making all battle cruisers tactical centric and have a 5/3 weapon layout instead of the 4/4 cruiser standard.
3)make the z-store more intuitive. Give us a tab for ship classes. Cruisers/science/escorts/other/etc.
4) give all escorts pilot maneuvering capabilities.
5) make specialization points universal account unlocks. It would make having Alts far far more enjoyable and would allow players to roll more characters without handicaps. Which means more ship sales character slots boff slot sales etc.
6) Once a character unlocks lvl 15 on an R&D category make it an account unlock for all toons on that account giving all alts access to those traits. This and the idiotic specialization point grind are the reasons why I don't really bother leveling anymore alts as its just a pain.
7)Let us dress up our space barbies how we want! Sick of having these Romulans who can't be dressed up in Starfleet uniforms or Klingon armor. If they're serving on a fed ship at least let us dress em up a bit and give them a starfleet combadge.
8) How about a Ship refit system. I love a few ships in game, unfortunately their console or station layout is TRIBBLE.
Once we've bought the ship, how about allowing us to use that ship's layout on other ships. Say using the ship layout of the Paladin on the Narendra or Gagarin on the Galaxy. I know it would go a long way from making me feel like I didn't waste my time getting a ship that's been benched cause there's a newer more powerful ship now.

Anyway that's my wish list for this game.

An Introduction to The House of Kular

NEH DAQ MAY' 'OH TLHINGAN TEH TLHINGAN
ONLY IN BATTLE IS A KLINGON TRULY KLINGON

The House of Kular, or HoK for short, is the United Federation of Planets (UFP) division responsible for the support of STO's Klingon faction, along with all Klingon-aligned Romulans.
HoK supports the Klingon faction through three primary fields: Fleet Management, Event Support, and Forum Support. HoK manages all of this with a great team of staff filling several different roles, including:

Battle Officers: HoKs front-line warriors responsible for the planing and hosting of events for UFP's Klingon population.

Battle Masters: The staff responsible for maintaining HoK's fleet holdings, and making sure there is always projects available for members to earn Fleet Credits.

Orion Syndicate Traders: Members entrusted with looking after HoK's fleet banks, and acquiring rare & expensive items to sell in our Fleet Shop at a discount.

Positions in these job rolls are often available for members who are interested in giving something back to the community.

What The House of Kular offers it members:

  • Fleet Management: In total HoK manages a grand total of eight holdings and two banks spread across two fleets in-game, of which the main fleet has every upgrade complete (until they add the next one). Along with invites, promotions, Roll Call processing and the messages of the day - HoK is, partly, our in-game admin power-horse for the Klingon Defense Force.
  • Event Support: If fleet management is the pint, events are the blood wine. Supported through a dedicated event team, the largest portion of HoK's staff sees to this field with complete focus. Including but not limited to all end-game PvE content runs, themed PvP events, Bat'leth competitions, and massive Fleet Days - there is something for everyone.
  • Forum Support: Finally, HoK support's STO's Klingon faction on the UFP's forums. Under these forums members can discuss, among themselves, builds, upcoming content, make guides, and most importantly request an invite to the fleet.

Cutscene Outfit Bug

Hi,

So this is an issue that I've had for years and have never been able to find a solution, so thought I'd try here.
At some point I edited my characters outfit after getting a new boff and have created two 'ghost' outfits that I can only see and edit when i enlist another boff. These outfits tend to appear in cutscenes rather than my actual outfit. The most common solution I have seen is to rename the outfit, but this does not fix the issue.
These outfit have a VERY LIMITED selection available so I can't just replicate my actual character with them.
Is there any way at all to delete these?

Thanks.

Hello captains, rookies and jelly things,

today I received a promo code
but I find no way to actually activate it. No "activate code here" button on the website
and nothing in the ingame menus either.
After searching a bit I found the FAQ where it states
that I should click a cogwheel thing in the launcher.
but - there is no such thing?

Wanted: Ways to obtain Uncommon and above Jem'Hadar Bridge Officers

$

At the moment, the only ways to obtain these BOFFs is through the starting crew or through the Vanguard pack.

This should be changed so that it's possible to obtain these. I can see three ways off the top of my head.

1. Add Jem'Hadar recruitment DOFF assignments. These could be added to the Gamma Quadrant and to DS9.
2. Make them available from Lorriss for x amount of dilithium.
3. Add them to a future Gamma Quadrant fleet holding.

I do think they're required though, and the game would be enhanced (for me, certainly) by their addition.

I crashed during the TFO "Mycelial Realm" tonightand when I reconnected, I was stranded on the island without my Tardigrade.
The Tardigrade is needed to move on to the next island(s) so I was stuck.
I don't like getting AFK penalties when accidents like this happen, so there should be a way to 'reclaim' a Tardigrade to continue participating when logging back in.
