Typing disabled in Foundry

Currently I have attempted to edit my foundry projects and work on correct grammar and text issues. I cannot type in anything for the foundy. I can't edit the text, delete old projects, or anything that requires me to use a keyboard to edit. On top of that, in edit mode to playtest my maps, I can't go past the Sol Sector without the Federation Travel pop-up telling me that I cannot leave Federation Space. Anyne else having this issue?

ABOUT THE UFPLANETS ARMADA
Our Armada is designed with a community focus at the forefront and the UFP has been involved in the Star Trek gaming scene for over 13 years. You can read more about the history of the UFP here. What separates our Armada from others you may come across is our dedication to our members and those wishing to align themselves with us. In addition to the dedication of our all volunteer staff, we also have a number of STO players who are always willing to help others out with builds, tips and tricks, helping players with their own goals, or just getting together for fun.

As part of welcoming you into our community, we will be offering a forum signature service to your members, similar to our own but representing your own identity in our community. It also goes without saying that you will be welcomed to our cross-faction STO channel, as we support both Federation and Klingon fleets with the Armada feature.

An Introduction to The House of Kular

NEH DAQ MAY' 'OH TLHINGAN TEH TLHINGAN
ONLY IN BATTLE IS A KLINGON TRULY KLINGON

The House of Kular, or HoK for short, is the United Federation of Planets (UFP) division responsible for the support of STO's Klingon faction, along with all Klingon-aligned Romulans.
HoK supports the Klingon faction through three primary fields: Fleet Management, Event Support, and Forum Support. HoK manages all of this with a great team of staff filling several different roles, including:

Battle Officers: HoKs front-line warriors responsible for the planing and hosting of events for UFP's Klingon population.

Battle Masters: The staff responsible for maintaining HoK's fleet holdings, and making sure there is always projects available for members to earn Fleet Credits.

Orion Syndicate Traders: Members entrusted with looking after HoK's fleet banks, and acquiring rare & expensive items to sell in our Fleet Shop at a discount.

Positions in these job rolls are often available for members who are interested in giving something back to the community.

What The House of Kular offers it members:

  • Fleet Management: In total HoK manages a grand total of eight holdings and two banks spread across two fleets in-game, of which the main fleet has every upgrade complete (until they add the next one). Along with invites, promotions, Roll Call processing and the messages of the day - HoK is, partly, our in-game admin power-horse for the Klingon Defense Force.
  • Event Support: If fleet management is the pint, events are the blood wine. Supported through a dedicated event team, the largest portion of HoK's staff sees to this field with complete focus. Including but not limited to all end-game PvE content runs, themed PvP events, Bat'leth competitions, and massive Fleet Days - there is something for everyone.
  • Forum Support: Finally, HoK support's STO's Klingon faction on the UFP's forums. Under these forums members can discuss, among themselves, builds, upcoming content, make guides, and most importantly request an invite to the fleet.

colonelmarik's ship build thread

Ok, @colonelmarik I figured I would move the discussion from the Tzenkethi thread over here where we can just concentrate on what you're trying to do.

There is a lot of good advice in that thread, but figured it would be easier to talk about it here then taking that thread off topic.

So in relation to this post:

I think it's here I should post this. Someone was asking what I've got ON my ship, so here's a screen of the gear I'm using.

Now, I'll readily admit, the phasers are a little on the weak side, but everything else is Mk XII. I simply don't have the resources to upgrade anything.

Also, I have a program that's supposed to parse dps (called "CombatLogParser"), but I'm not sure just how to compare that to the numbers some people are posting here. If anyone can tell me how to measure my dps for the sake of comparison...?

37557687_10156518998943899_834385113365086208_o.jpg?_nc_fx=fyto1-1&_nc_cat=0&oh=2344fc503ccba18cd1092d76fac916a3&oe=5BCE8453&efg=eyJhZG1pc3Npb25fY29udHJvbCI6MCwidXBsb2FkZXJfaWQiOiI1NTM1NzM4OTgifQ%3D%3D

Let me start with this, is this the best ship you have available to you? This is the 'freebie' base T5 Assault Cruiser right?

I am more then willing to go to STO Academy and map you out a build based on mission rewards and cheap gear that can get you through your missions, but lets start with your ship. Is this the ship that you're going to use? Can we maybe do better then this?

You have access to any event ships? any other C-Store ships? Lets start there.. what do you have access to?

I am sure that between myself and people like @peterconnorfirst, @coldnapalm, @tunebreaker, etc.. we can find you something that works. Those guys know their stuff, if they can't help you.. no one can.

Will there be flash sales for the lower tiers of ships?

$

0
To my knowledge, there hasn't been a flash sale for the lower tiers of ships but there have been multiple flash sales for the bundles which include a lot of the T6 ships. Right now, Black Friday and the occasional ship sales can discount these ships by 20-25% so why inquire about an extra 5-10%?

Since the lower tiers of ships aren't in bundles, the cost per t6 ships can be lower than the cost of a t4 ship making it really not worth buying them even for the admiralty card.

T6 pilot escort mega bundle 12,000/9 = 1,333z per ship
T4 stand alone ships = 1,500z

I don't think retro bundling lower tiered ships would be a solution as a lot of people would end up already have some of each bundle. However, a 30% off flash sale might get these older ships out of the c-store's space dock.

Morphogenic Polaron Energy Weapon and Advanced Inhibiting Polaron Omni-Directional conflict

$

I can't seem to put both on my ship at the same time. I get "You cannot equip more than 1 items of that category."

It's like they both have the same name but obviously they don't. One's not even an omni-directional beam array, at least not technically.

Bug or working as intended?

Fleet Battle Cruiser T6 oddity.

Slappy Squirrel - Who Is On Stage

Ship Mastery account wide {Devs please explain?}

$

0
I know this has been brought up a few times, but why won't STO give us mastery account wide on ships.... I just got the Gamma pack, and recently the 31 century pack. That is a total of 12 new ships ( 4 cardassian, 5 jem'hadar, and 3 Temporal) I have 8 Toons. Making a total of 92 masteries to unlock if I want all traits on all toons. As well as the 30+ ships for my new jem'hadar I've collected over the years.. I never play new content cause I am usually leveling up ships. And if I adopt a "Just play the ships will level" I'll be done tons of content without ever even having my ships fully realized.
Not even talking cross faction.. I get a pack of 3 romulan ships, I have 5 romulans... 15 Times I have to unlock ships for all 5? Why? It isn't a cash grab cause me regrinding the same ship makes them no extra money. It only adds grind.

Anyone else kinda.. Bummed to play when new ships come out?
Can I get a Dev just to give me the reason they do this?

If you agree make sure to comment it, so we can get this issue some attention.
