Transwarp Broken/Bugged For Alpha Quadrant

I was trying to transwarp to Bajor System via the Transwarp option only for it not to work. I'm guessing I'm not the only one who having this problem.

Transwarp Window > Alpha Quadrant > Bajor (Bajor Sector) > FAIL! (The Transwarp to Destination window closes and nothing happens)
Same thing goes for: Transwarp Window > Alpha Quadrant > Defera (Defera Sector) > FAIL (The Transwarp to Destination window closes and nothing happens) Except it works when you scroll down and find Defera System.

As for the Beta Quadrant tab, everything works fine.

[Console] Pilot Escort Cosmetics

Pc players, as I'm on console and still waiting the release of the pilot escorts, I have a question for you since you already have these.

If I own all 3 variants of the Fed Pilot escorts, can I change the appearance of a tactical escort by having the hull/pylon/nacelles/etc of the sci or eng escort?

Rant about "Outdated Drivers Warning"

So whatever I seriously doubt this will even be read by anyone important enough to realize what consequences of this actually are.

First of all lets just point out a serious flaw here. Telling someone that their drivers are out of date is just pointless and dangerous, particullarily if they are actually using what might be known as Legacy Hardware. In which case updating those drivers will cause the GPU to fail outright.

Second of all some driver updates like last years (2016) nvidia drivers were actually CAUSING more problems then the previous versions.

Third, did you know that unless the driver update actually contains relivant performance tweaks to the application in question, EG Star Trek Online... You wont actually gain performance from the update.

Fourth so I realize its a rant blah blah blah.. it is entirely possible to improperly install drivers causing more problems then before you started.


Now that I've spewed out my thoughts, seriously, if you want to remind me my drivers are out of date, fine, but dont mess with my graphic settings each time I launch the game! Thats so very annoying having to go through every last little thing you just chewed up and spat back out at my for "default settings". Have to run around looking like dwarves because you cant default the correct aspect ratios and a whole load of other random settings because I have specific hardware and I just happen to know a lot more about it then your default settings.

Now if you dont mind I guess I'll wait a few more months to keep playing this when I rebuild my pc to new AMD hardware coming out.. Maybe then I wont care so much about updating my drivers because everything might just actually work like its supposed to.


--Before I forget, I got this way years ago because I found out the dark side of unnecessary driver updates. Basically the older your hardware is, the less you should actually update the drivers for it, because the greater the chance of something you actually need, not being in the driver update package! So stop blindly forcing updates and do some proper research into what it actually does for you.

K-13 Android

So, yeah, bought Andrea, the K-13 Android. 2 things that bother me:

1) You can't change her appearance. First Android I have that disallows such change. She looks fine, but I would have loved to slap a, you know, Android part on her. Now she just looks human.

2) She can't be taught any 23c abilities (beyond Ensign). That's annoying. She's a boff, and she's 23c as well (at least from K-13, so she should be).

Beating the Tzenkethi Battlezone Problem and Possible Solution.

I think that everybody had their fair share of not able to cap all the zones so here's is a possible solution. First we need to cap the outer zones first, then have at least 1 to 3 players stay behind and guard the zone while the other players go for the next zone. Then do the same thing with another zone and have at least 2 players stay guard and wait for the tzenkethi ships to respawn. When all the outer zones are capped. Go to the 3 inner middle zones and do the same. Then all players should take out the boss who ever it may be.

Today, in one of the instances we did exactly that. But we didn't manage to cap all the outer zones because we kept on losing the capped zones due to the fact the Tzenkethi ship (THEIR CRUISERS) are op. Although it is a level 60 BZ. We had 2 outer zone left to cap and when we capped them, we discovered that 2 outer zones (and later 3) were under (attack) the Tzenkethi control. So we were stuck capping the outer zones all day. The real problem is that there weren't enough players in the instance to successfully hold and cap all the zones (Maximum players in a instance is ONLY 15). We were practically in a stalemate situation and have been playing a small game of tug of war all day without any success with the Tzenkethi even though we did get plenty of Lukari marks, but that's not the issue.

Hopefully this strategy might help the players and those who have better weapons and equipment to beat this nightmare.

• 44th is casual fleet of Star Trek fans and gamers (18+) joined together to explore the universe and enjoy all aspects of Star Trek Online. Our community welcome new players, as well as veterans to join us with goal of enhancing your (and our) game experience through support and friendly atmosphere. We have been around since Beta and launch of the game and are still having fun and good time with content the game developers are bringing to us.
• KDF aligned fleet structured according to the High Council ranking system.
• Tier 5 fleet. With all holdings completed, our members have access to all fleet space and ground equipment that are currently available. We also have enough fleet provisions in stock for all your needs. I want to thank every members that helped in achieving this!
• 44th Fleet. We also have a fully completed Tier 5 fleet for your Fed or Fed allied Romulan/Reman characters.

=Activity=

• Fleet teaming. We team up for PvE or PvP on daily basis. Take your ship on a fleet run to get your daily Dilithium dose as well as Reputation or Fleet marks. I discovered it is more enjoyable doing it with fleet as it is more relaxed, fun (no one will call you "noob".. instead you will get an advice) and all stf-s are finished more quickly.
• Fleet events. We organize many fleet events which make the game experience rich and enjoyable. Most famous is Fleet Olympics, PvP tournament where we have fun fighting each other in arena. It is friendly to new players so a great opportunity for them to learn and gain experience. There are more events planned this year.
• Fleet crafting. We will have our members specialized in each crafting school so they can supply us with unique equipment.

• Ask for help. Members of the fleet will share their knowledge of game mechanics, providing you with advice on space/ground gear, help with choosing and setting your ship or answering any distress calls concerning "I'm stuck" situations of STO world. (We don't charge for use of tractor beams or emergency transports if you ever mysteriously find yourself in a prison cell next to Talaxian chef trying to teach you his secret cooking recipes).

=Community=

• Chat channel. It is used to connect FED and KDF fleet so members can communicate with each other no matter which character they play.
• Fleet forum. Forum is place where our members can socialize outside of STO. It is active and can be used to discuss different topics ranging from Star Trek Online tactics or activity, Star Trek universe and off-topic talk. Note that our forum is created 3 years ago so there are a lot of valuable information, suggestions, help topics and advice on many different builds and gameplay styles.
• Teamspeak. We have Teamspeak server available but you are not required to use it.

• There is NO need to report weekly/monthly to senior officers as we don't have requirements in term of commitment. You can be afk as we understand players have real lives.

Missing Worlds

Look at the galaxy map, it occurs to me while we have many important worlds like Earth, Vulcan, Tellar, Trill, Betazed, Qornos, Kolobi, Iconiania, Delta, Feresan, Ferengnar, Tzkeneth, Andoria, Bajor, Cardassia, Risa, Nimbus, Romulus, Orion, Acamar, New Romulus, Denuluba, there are still key homeworlds still missing on the map.

Gornar, Ter'jas Mor, Lethea, do the Nausicaans have a homeworld?, Caitans homeworld (I know they evovled on Ferasa, I mean the one they have now). Those seem like the major absenses within the map to me, all important worlds within STO.

I see that you have wallpaper contest threads. That is certainly a cool thing.

But as someone who came over from CO, where we have a lot of fun posting pics of oddities we cap from or game, I was wondering if you guys have an Amusing Moments Picture thread like it. If you don't, would we be allowed to create one?

The general idea would be that any player would cap an odd looking moment from the game and then post it, either with an amusing remark or without for others to add an amusing remark.

romulan stasis sound bug X1/PS4

in episode 20 or 21 in the romulan campaign where you have to infiltrate a tal shiar base and rescue two starfleet officers. when you rescue the vulcan and he gets trapped in the stasis field the sound of the stasis field won't go away even after i log out and log in again. the only way i can get rid of the sound is by making a new character and skiping the mission

if you are going to introduce a T6 mogue that you should fix the T5 first

what is the point of releasing the T6 mogue when the T5's equipment dosent evn orl lke so many of the kdf ship consols, there are at least 3 kdf ships that have defective eqiuipment, the mogue (dynamic defence deployment system the varanus (repair platform) and the vandal destroyer (plasmonic leach). if i where you i'd be embarrassed to release another potentially defective product without resolving the previous issues first.

Is anyone else tired of this?

Every new reputation now, whenever you advance a Tier you have to go 'read mission logs on DS9.' Really? they can't just transmit them to me? I can't read them on ESD or better yet in the Captain Quarters on my own ship?

What is with the obsession with making us all go to DS9 just to read a mission log? I hardly ever go to the Alpha Quadrant, so it's annoying to constantly have to travel there just to click 'next' and then leave.

Can we please consider allowing us to read these logs from a more convenient location?
