The
Tal'Diann is known primarily to outsiders as Romulan Military Intelligence, and is well-known as a longtime foe of the Tal'Shiar (Imperial Secret Police and Civilian Intelligence). We are known primarily to our own people as Romulan Military Internal Affairs.
However, both of these are merely two wings of the Tal'Diann. In addition to the Military Intelligence wing and the Military Internal Affairs wing, we also have a Special Operations wing, and a Scientific Wing (which we have recently renamed "the Research and Development wing").
The Tal'Diann is not a part of the New Romulan Star Navy nor is it part of the Republic Militia, but is instead a separate branch of the Romulan Republic Forces. This separation is due to the work of the Tal'Diann as Military Internal Affairs, which necessitates a sometimes supervisory role on the part of the Tal'Diann toward the other branches of the RRF. Nevertheless, we do work with both the New Romulan Star Navy and the Republic Militia.
The
Tal'Diann has established a fleet of the New Romulan Republic, with two branches. The oldest of the two is an Orion-allied fleet (for those in denial: a Klingon-allied fleet) of the New Romulan Republic, and bears the name "
Tal'Diann." The more recently established branch is a Vulcan-allied fleet (and by extension, this is also allied with the Federation) of the New Romulan Republic, and bears the name "
Tal-Diann."
Tal'Diann is a KDF-allied fleet for KDF-allied RRF personnel and KDF personnel. With rare exceptions, KDF personnel who join the Tal'Diann are considered to have been honorably discharged from the KDF and to have become personnel of the RRF. Prior to admission into the Tal'Diann, applicants must pass a course of studies in the
Lasasam s'Tal'Diann (our KDF-allied Romulan Republic Training Fleet). Tal'Diann also participates in the Open Starbase Project. Our public docking frequency is: SBG14
Tal-Diann is a Federation-allied fleet for UFP-allied RRF personnel and UFP personnel. With rare exceptions, Starfleet personnel who join the Tal'Diann are considered to have been honorably discharged from Starfleet and to have become personnel of the RRF.

Requirements:
For Romulans/Remans: loyalty to the New Romulan Republic and opposition to the Tal'Shiar and the tyranny of the old order. Also: KDF Alliance to petition the Lasasam s'Tal'Diann (the "Academy of the Tal'Diann," our training fleet on the KDF alliance side), or UFP Alliance to apply to the Tal-Diann.
For KDF or Starfleet personnel: alliance with the New Romulan Republic.
For anyone: Opposition to the sick thing which the Romulan Star Empire has become, opposition to the Tal'Shiar, a desire to protect, preserve, and promote Freedom, opposition to slavery, loyalty to D'Tan as Proconsul of the New Romulan Republic.
Special Consideration for those with Academic Commendations in Espionage, Marauding, Diplomacy, Military, Trade, Science, Engineering, Tactical, Development, Recruiting, Exploration; Military Commendations in New Romulan Reputation, Omega Strike Force Reputation, Nukara Strike Force Reputation, Dyson Joint Command Reputation, 8472 Counter Command Reputation, Delta Alliance Reputation; Skill/Training/Experience in Seduction, Telepathy, Telekinesis, Operations, Medicine, Singularity Theory, Temporal Diplomacy, and/or Security.
Some Particulars for Your Consideration:
- RP is welcome, but not required.
