No playable Borg ships, why not this......

One of the Devs said last week on 10 Forward Weekly, they tried to make a Borg ship and it was boring, bad and not fun. Due to how it moved and you couldn't tell which side was the front. Here is the part - image

However, what about a T5/T6 Lores Borg ship? Wouldn't that fix a lot of those problems.

Fleet Management Suggestion: Add ability to sort roster by handles

Just a small tidbit to help people that manage Fleet rosters. Cryptic, please add the ability to sort said roster by handles (i.e. Kirrok@STOgamer sorted together with BeardedRiker@STOgamer, etc) instead of what's currently ingame, i.e. character name. It's a PITA to track fleet player activity to weed out inactive players while not kicking out an active player's alt.

The ability to sort rosters by handles, to see ALL the characters the player has with the fleet would be immensely useful. The game already can tell us when was the last time the character was logged in, but grouping it all with @handle sorting this makes it all convenient, EASY.

I was once in a fleet where I had to manage rosters, weeding out long inactive players, but had to be super careful about kicking out an active player's alt, which I ended up doing a few times. This was when Delta Rising hit years ago and it's still a thing today. When you have a large fleet this can be a pain to do.

Hi,
I'm looking at doing a sci ship but since i like the mroe agressive style i had thoguht to mainly use the dual beam banks and turrets at the back .Thinking more fed then anyting else, whats a good ship for that style of play? somethng thats agile enough for it but caters to the sci side of things?

Could torpedos be any more nerfed?

I was just reading that torpedos got nerfed again recently where TS boff now only enhances the torps that hit the main target. So neutric torp and quantum phase now only effect one target... i mean why do the devs hate torpedos so much? And dont tell me about power creep this is just Torpedo hating. Im not bashing on the devs though they have a lot of work for the money they have to work with im appreciative of course but i seems that its getting harder and harder to make a torpedo boat good or even justify using one at all. There are some good torpedos but they are just place filler for energy management or they are just so so on a pure torpedo build. I think now this is only my peronal opinion but i think there should be a PEN mod on ALL torpedos even rep and mission rewards. You can reengineer to get it. That would help a lot. What do you torpedo users think?

Suggestion for Future Customization Options: Transporter and Warp FX

Would it be possible to add the option to customize your Transporter and Warp FX based on what ship you're using? Dropdown menus could be added to the Starship Customization window that would allow you to switch out Transporter/Warp effects as you see fit, either for free or for a small EC charge.

Each faction could start with its basic effects (Starfleet/Klingon/Romulan Captains would be able to choose between modern/TOS styles), and additional styles could be acquired through certain starships (Example: Unboxing a Galor, Keldon or any of the new Cardassian Intel ships would give you access to yellow warp trails and Cardassian transporter effects/sounds) or through other means (Example: Acquiring the Tosk Hunter Armor would only unlock their distinctive transporter FX, as we don't have any of their actual ships ingame.)

Do you think they should add Playable Orions for Tos Federation?

As seen in Star Trek and Startrek Beyond in the Kelvin timeline or Jjtrek. They have Orions in starfleet. So I think it would make since for them to add them to the Tos Faction. Plus it would fit in my mind. Would you like to see this addition to the playable races section in the Tos Alternate Federation start?

Jem'Hadar Ship bugged after reaching tier 6 Mastery?

I finally have achieved tier 6 Mastery on and Vanguard Carrier on my only Jem'hadar toon. I chose the Vanguard Carrier to start out with. After achieving tier 6 mastery, I changed toons to a toon that I thought would be perfect for that ship and found that I could not claim the ship. I checked all factions and many toons and found the same problem. It seems there is a malfunction in the mechanic of the account wide vanguard feature or I am missing some info as to how to correctly claim the ship. I've been in the zen store and the red letters state that I am not eligible for that ship. I've been to the fleet, ds9 and other ship vendors and the ships don't even show up as option to choose from when selecting to view t6 ships. Those ships, however, do show up in the zen store and are grayed out and not able to be claimed. Please help and thanks!! Remember: Victory is Life!!

Suggestions for a Dominion progression

I am rather disappointed at the progression from Dominion characters. While I understand the limitation of the Jem'Hadar and the idea that heroic Dominion Characters should start out advanced, beginning at level 60 is too high. At one time, KDF players were started at Commander (level 20 or so) before the full progression starting at Lt. level 1 was restored. I propose that Dominion players should be started at that level(Second/level 20) but referred to as "Third". There is precedent for this as both Remata'Klan and Talak'Talan were thrids, but in command of their own units.


The Dominion should start out at level 20, but referred to as Third under Dukan'Rex. The character runs through the Dominion prison camp as is already the case, but at that lower level. On completion, the player gets the first Jem'Hadar BOFFs, the ones whom pledge their loyalty at the end of the simulation. After that, the player is assigned to Vorta Eraun's unit. It is then sent to capture the USS Rapier which has been spotted violating Dominion space. In the engagement, the Second is killed, while the First beams over with Eraun leaving the player in command of the Teir 3 Bug ship. While the Rapier enters the Wormhole, the player reports to Weyoun, leading to the player's promotion to command of the unit and command of the ship. At that point, we quickly run through "Ceremony" from the original Dominion Tutorial.

From there, Weyoun sends the player to investigate Vandros IV to investigate the reactivation of Iconian technology to include the space gateway (opening up the Delta Quadrant). Some more Gamma Quadrant missions could involve the Argathi, Dosi, Ennis, Hunters(of the Tosk), Karemma, Paradans, Rakhari, Skrreea, Teplans, Wadi, and Yaderans. All of this can occur before pick a faction much like the initial Romulan Tutorial missions. Add to that, Dominion Internment Camp 371 can act as the Dominion exclusive social hub. These missions would be great for adding those Gamma Quadrant species as Dominion faction BOFFs.

From there, Odo sends the character to Weyoun to play out the Cardassian Struggle missions from a Dominion perspective, particularly the missions "Facility 4028" and "Boldly They Rode". "Operation Gamma's" ending could be the player characters' ship that responds to Farek's salvaging and lead into "Facility 4028". The prisoner that the Warden sends the player to speak to could be Eraun's number 7 clone held since his capture on the Rapier. After "Boldly they Rode" is when the player picks which faction to ally with.

Somewhere along the line, whether before or after the Cardassian Struggle arc, Odo should send the Dominion player to Nimbus to "restore some semblance of order". Odo or his surrogate being the contact for "Spectres" arc as well as the "Cloaked Intentions" Romulan featured story arc. Immediately after "Darkness before Dawn", the New Romulus missions should become active. Around this time, the Breen Arc should become active, preparing the player for the Borg invasion of Deferia. From there, the Borg Invasion Arc, then the Dyson Sphere arc followed by Delta Quadrant and then the Iconian War, Future Proof, and New Horizons before returning to the Gamma Quadrant Hurq storyline.

The new dialogue introduced in Victory is Life is broken in every mission that was updated. Wrong characters are referenced in text, voice over is either doubled or the new voice over is not present at all.

I am a long time lifetime subscriber, and can actually trace one account or another to Alpha testing. I am an aerospace engineer and avid fan of your franchise. I have been not critical, and in fact a defender in almost every single controversial issue that has ever arisen, not in the forums which is a platform for trolls, but in game, with real people. I have been a great sales person for the lie it seems. I have brought many people into the lifetime account lie, as well as regular subscribers and purchasers of your largely meaningless virtual property.


I have spent THOUSANDS of dollars on your FTP buy content business plan. I have by and large enjoyed the results. I Blame Me for this. I tried to support you. That will very sadly, now cease. And giving me all the zen you cheated me out of over the years which I was supposed to receive as an allowance will not make it better. Nor would giving me 100k Zen as that would not touch what I have paid for.


We Lifetime Subs were promised certain perks, (including personal attention) which you have failed to deliver on. I have the same log in frustrations, disconnects, bugs, lack of fixes, lack of content boosts for the lifers, that was promised back in the day. Realizing that the greedy pieces of fecal material at PWE actually drive the bus, I can forgive a lot. But, to have to buy everything the FTP folks do is too much. We were promised a glossy wonderful future, which you as Cryptic, and more importantly the f*cktards at PWE have failed to deliver.


I have not 1 but 2 lifetime accounts. I have every ship known to the game, save one, which I asked in a personal email to be allowed to pay for, as I was deployed in the armed forces during the Vorgon Carrier promo. I was turned down. This is not the kind of personal service we were promised when you painted the golden pictures to market you game. I have been supportive. I have contributed thousands of dollars. I am helpful in game. I have in fact held up my part of the bargain.


Cryptic, PWE, you have failed me. As well as thousands of your subscribers, who like me, purchased a flat out corporate lie.


I might very well take to social media to reveal the truth behind the lie. I might finally quit this game, which would be sad as there is so much potential, which is flawed and failed due to the greedy f*cks at PWE HQ. Possibly Greedy F*cks at Cryptic... I played COH, CoV, and been a long time Cryptic fan. I never refer to you guys as your very popular but negative nickname of Craptic. I am now officially telling you, that if I do not get personal, one on one interactions I was promised when I bought into your lie, I am done, and I will become an enemy.


Trust me when I say this- I violated no vulgarity laws. No cursing, or racist, or discriminatory language is here. If you fail to post this, I will post it on every major social media outlet, even if I have to sign up to post it. Ignore me at your peril.

2365-2371 Starfleet Flag Officer Uniforms missing from STO

Hello Star Trek Online Developers,

I don't know if it's been brought up in several years or ever, but I have noticed the (canon) uniforms of the Starfleet Admirals 2365-2371 are missing from Star Trek: Online. Would you add them to the game as uniform options (with appropriate Starfleet Commodore thru Fleet Admiral rank insignia) ?

Program to help find others who play at the same hours? (Non-USA RPers, unite...)

Little project of mine I'd like opinions on. I have an idea for a simple program that I think could be very handy for off-peak roleplayers - springing from my own exasperating experience of being a UK player surrounded by Americans who I speak to once and then never see at my time of day again. I'd like to find out whether it's worthwhile trying to make this happen and if so what features people would like to see in it, and I thought this was a good place to ask because so many of us here are from different countries.

My idea is to have a program that you could use to record what hours you actually do play a game: for instance, you could set it up to log when you were logged into, say, a particular game or chat channel (for IRC-based roleplaying channels), and it would generate a small graph of what times of day you were most often logged in, which you could then use in a forum signature or anywhere like that. Then people looking at someone's graph could see at a glance whose hours were more compatible with theirs.

I don't know whether this would be better as an add-on for a particular game or chat client, or a free-standing program which you would leave running continually in the background and would do it. If it was integrated with a game, there would be a possibility (only if the player enabled it, of course) of arranging it to send the data to the game's website so it would be searchable by others - a player could search for a specified time, or put in their own graph, and the site would list participating players whose hours matched that most closely.

Are other people interested? And, if so, what features would you like to see in it? If there is interest, then I could see about trying to get it made. (I say "get it made" because I'd have to find someone to help me with the programming, as there are things involved that would be beyond my very rusty programming skills.)

A sharp teeth option is shown for Ferengi toons, but I've never been able to get it to work on a Ferengi toon or bridge officer.

Has this option ever worked? A Ferengi without sharp teeth doesn't look quite right...

Dragon deceit lighting

The lighting in dragon deceit is really dark in some areas and good in others, the video when the bug comes out of the leader's mouth is really dark and can barely be seen, I played the episode prior to the lighting update so I believe this is an issue with lighting 2.0 because the lighting was fine the last time I played the episode which was prior to the lighting update.
