I usually don't do this, as I never think my builds are all that big a deal. But hey, I tested on Tribble, I worked on this and I've been working on a tank build for my T6 Fleet Guardian for the past two months anyways, so it's kind of timely.
My Build.
I'm an Engineer. Flying a T6 Fleet Guardian. Running Pilot primary and Strageist Secondary. (I'm such a huge fan of scratch the paint).
The ship is very tanky, but does 25k to 35k DPS consistently in ISA Pugs, so it's not exactly bad DPS.
The build is heavy in Engineering. I took it to 24 on tribble during testing to see what the Ultimate was like. But I mean, I was going heavy in Engineering no matter what because the ship turns slow so I wanted to max the Lt. Commander skills, and it's a beam centered boat so I want to keep power levels as high as possible so I was going heavy into those captain and admiral tier skills.
It's got a leech, so Drain Expertise was needed.
I only went one level in with long range targeting sensors because I spend a lot of time very close to what I'm fighting. I end up trying my best to maximize being up close to the target (partly for shield scraping because that's fun, partly for proximity aggro and partly for the damage).
Where continued tweaking will probably take place will be in the skills that deal with hull and shields. I'm slanted more towards hull and find that to really mesh well with the ship itself. I've got a ton of hull and my shields are good too, but I find I can tank really well even with low and down shields. So the build has a mix but it favors hull. Others may need their ship to do something else depending on the ship?
Anyways, that's my build and I thought I'd share.
EDIT: Forgot to mention, this is for PVE. I haven't done anything in PVP in like 5 years.
