cloaking armor? Or maybe phasing?

So I left the game for a time until I read some articles about the changes made to the game which brought me back.

I seem to remember a piece of gear (likely armor or a kit) that would allow the wearer to occasionally cloak or phase. I was excited about it because at the time only tactical characters could do this with their skills (I was using it right after the skills became kits with modules).

It would happen randomly during a fight, it was not a skill but a passive and it would only last for a short period of time like a few seconds.

Does anyone know what this was or what happened to it if it was removed from the game?
