Cannot see chat in most channels

For some reason, I'm unable to see any zone chat, or chat from the bulk of other players in private channels. They are all active in my chat tab and I'm not silenced in any of them. I can chat just fine and see my own chat and that of a few others only. Zone chat is completely blank.

Anyone come across this issue before?
