- Star Trek Online has the licence from CBS, the new movies goes through Paramount and Bad Robot. (Should not be news, but putting it here anyway)
- Cryptic has asked before about getting the assets in the new movies in the game, but JJ Abrams declined and didn't want to be involved in a video games right now. (The Star Trek game that was released before flopped real good, might be a bad taste from that)
- It was easier to get hold of the Kelvin Timeline assets when JJ Abrams become less involved with the new Star trek.
- STO has not the right to add assets from the upcoming Star Trek: Beyond. Infact, Al Rivera know as much as us about that movie.
- CBS owns TV, old movies, few other stuff, Paramount owns the new movies and some "Weird stuff" and Sony owns the Star Trek Music.
- Sounded like Sony didn't want to share music to STO, only for specific stuff, might demand to much green from Cryptic? Dunno, might have understand it wrong.
- No AoY treatement will come for Romulan and Klingons in the (near) future.
- Klingon population of player is really small.
- Mine Trap is coming back, they are working on it now.
