I was browsing the news section for annual events held by STO and came across the following: Star Trek Online: 4th Annual Shutup Wesley Event.
Take a close look at the image used to promote it:

Additionally, I searched for Christmas events in STO and there's almost nothing official except the above annual event. Instead, there's some kind of substitute called "Q's Winter Wonderland". Where is the wonderful time of the year? Did Grinch steal Christmas in STO and Cryptic's offices? By contrast, there are very prominent Halloween event promotions that actually use the word "Halloween". Isn't that odd?
Of course, the people involved in running and promotion of the above annual event are free to explain themselves.
