shield absorbtive generator damaging instead of restoring?

after the latest patch, 06/02, I was doing ICA with my t6 scimitar, and got killed three times in a row without and damage displaying, instead what showed was the shield absorptive generator give '7,354 to my shields' - note normally I get killed in that very rarely, - and I was taking dmg like mad when things weren't even really shooting at me. I think there may be a bug where instead of healing me it's dmging me
